If an item is materially different than was described,  you shall have 48 hours from the time item is received to notify us.  After the 48 hour period, all items are "as is" without recourse. 

Accepting Returns

If for any reason you aren't satisfied, you can return any non engraved item in its original condition for a refund or exchange. If you have any questions about our return procedure, please don't hesitate to contact us at or Tel/360.501.6700 USA.

Any unauthorized, improperly packaged, or non insured packages will be returned to sender. Items that show signs of wear or have been resized (by a jeweler other than Valerie’s Inc.), engraved, altered, or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return.

If an item is returned it must be in the same condition in which it was shipped. Refund will be less shipping, handling, insurance, 3% credit card processing fees and Paypal fees if applicable. Insurance claims for loss or damage are the responsibility of the buyer.

Receiving Your Order

To return a diamond or jewelry item to Valerie’s Inc., follow our three step process:

(1) If within the US, call 360/501.6700 for a Return Authorization Code. Write this code on the return sticker found at the bottom of your original invoice and affix the sticker to the outside of the box.

(2) Place all the original packaging in the box, including the appraisal and the diamond certificate. (The diamond certificate carries a $250 replacement fee.) For security reasons, do not write Diamond or Jewelry anywhere on the outside of the box.

(3) On your invoice, if the price of the item you're returning is listed as:

 Less than $500: You can ship it via any carrier. Be sure to ship your item fully insured, and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached its destination.*

 More than $500: Ship your package via US Postal Service Registered Mail™, insured for the total value of the contents, and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached Valerie’s Inc. (FedEx® and UPS® will not insure merchandise over $500.)

Once your return is received, it will be reviewed by an independent appraisal lab, Pacific Gemological Laboratory .** You will receive e-mail notification regarding your return or exchange within seven business days.

*Valerie’s Inc. will not be responsible for loss or damage of return shipments.

And Sharie Dietz, a resident G.I.A. graduate gemologist (GG) senior member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (N.A.J.A.) also a candidate member of the American Society of Appraisers.
